Three people explain what they love about how they work. One values autonomy compared to friends who are micromanaged, one loves working from home with flexibility and more family time, and one loves the positive culture and the people they work with and serve.

You'll be able to

  • explain autonomy, flexibility and workplace culture.
  • describe why different ways of working matter to people.
  • say which way of working matters most to me.

(light upbeat music) - I still get a lot of autonomy. A few of my roommates, hearing about what they do at their jobs and how much micromanaging that happens, made me really appreciate how much freedom I have in my job.

- I love it, because I have so much flexibility. I have more time for my two boys, my husband, less time, which is mostly zero time, commuting, because I work from home. So unless I have a client meeting, which most of my stuff is virtual, I do most of my meetings on Zoom, but I mostly just get to work from home, which is awesome.

I work on what I want, when I want, with who I want.

- Oh, so I get to show up to something that I think we've built in a really good way. It's very positive. We've gotten to choose the people that we wanna work for us and contribute to that culture, but I feel like I have an amazing environment to step into every day.

I get very energized by the people that I work with and the people that we serve. (light upbeat music)
