Safeguarding
Last updated 12 October 2026
Children's safety comes before every other decision we make.
How Puzzicle is designed
- Small, closed batches. Up to 12 learners, joined by invite code or placed by a parent or organiser.
- No direct messaging between learners, no public profiles and no adverts.
- First names only. We never ask children for surnames, photos, schools or locations.
- Parents see everything their child does and who is in their batch.
- Discussion prompts are designed for families and supervised groups to use together. Puzzicle doesn't include live video or chat between children.
Reporting a concern
If you are worried about a child's safety, or about anyone's behaviour on Puzzicle, email our safeguarding lead at safeguarding@puzzicle.org. We aim to respond within one working day. If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (999 in Singapore and the UK, 911 in the US).
What we do
We take every report seriously. We may move learners between batches, suspend accounts, and share information with parents, the police or children's services where the law requires it or a child is at risk.
For organisers
Co-ops, microschools and tutors who run classes must follow their own safeguarding policies, use invite codes only with families they know, and tell us about any concern.
