Puzzicle for tutors, microschools & co-ops
Run live classes your students show up for
Everything you need to teach with Khan Academy's videos: a ready-made timetable, small batches, and live study parties where your students learn in sync โ so remote learners get classmates and accountability, not a lonely video queue. Use it for one lesson, or run your whole programme on it.

For microschools & online academies
Run your microschool online
For microschools, online academies, and a school's after-school or catch-up programme. Set up classes on real timetables, put students in batches, and take enrolments and fees, all on Puzzicle.
Classes on timetables
Pick a year group or a single course and a start date. The timetable is built for you: full day, half day, after-school or evening, with your holidays.
Batches
Named batches of up to 12, or your own size. Move students between them, or let families start their own with an invite code.
Enrolment rules
Open sign-up, invite only, or by application. Seat limits, waitlists, and approvals in one place.
Fees through your own Stripe
One-off, monthly or per-term fees, paid straight into your Stripe account. You are the merchant.
Your own sign-up page
A public page at /s/your-school with your name, colour, logo and every open class, ready to share.
Teacher-led or self-run
Your teachers can lead study parties live, or let the timetable and check-ins run them. Parents follow progress from their own account.
Families sign up on your page, and pay you
Share your sign-up page. Families pick a class, apply or pay, and land in the right batch. You see every enrolment, application and payment in your school dashboard.
For co-ops, tutors and micro-schools
Start your own school
The same tools, sized for a homeschool co-op, a tutor with a few small groups, or a new micro-school. No timetable to build, no platform to stitch together.
- Sign up in minutes. Your school's name, web address and login.
- Pick what to teach. Choose a year group or course, a start date and a day style; the timetable is built for you. Rename, reorder or swap videos in any study party.
- Share your sign-up page. Families join with a code, apply, or pay, and you place them in batches.
- Run your study parties. Lead them live or let them run themselves, and see every learner's progress.
Who uses it
Co-ops that want a shared core curriculum, microschools adding structured maths and English, international schools supporting families who travel, and tutors running small ahead-of-year groups.
Try the demo first
Puzzicle Demo Academy at /s/demo-academy shows a real sign-up page with a free after-school club and a paid evening programme by application.
Questions schools ask
What does it cost?
Nothing. Puzzicle doesn't charge schools, tutors, families or students, and takes no cut of any payment. We run on donations. Schools and tutors may charge for their teaching time, within the rules on our Free and non-commercial page.
Who receives the money families pay?
If a school or tutor charges for their time, families pay them directly through the school's own Stripe account. Puzzicle takes nothing. Refunds, receipts and subscriptions are managed in the school's own Stripe dashboard.
What happens to student data?
We collect as little as possible: a first name or nickname for each student, their class, batch and progress, and a parent's name and email. Your school sees the students in its classes. We never sell data or show adverts, and children don't get public profiles or direct messages. See our privacy policy and safeguarding pages.
Do students need accounts to watch an embedded video?
No. Shared and embedded videos play with their check-ins for anyone with the link, and answers stay in the student's browser. Students in a class on Puzzicle join with a code, so their progress is saved for them, their parents and you.
Does it work with our LMS?
Today you can paste the embed code into any LMS page that allows iframes (Canvas, Moodle, Schoology, Google Sites and more), or share to Google Classroom. LTI 1.3 and a Google Classroom add-on, which pass check-in results back to you, are coming soon.
Can our teachers lead the parties?
Yes. Each study party can be teacher-led, with a teacher or guide hosting the live party, or self-run, with the timetable and check-ins keeping the batch in sync. Many schools mix both.
Can we change the syllabus?
Yes. Start from any year group or course and the timetable is built for you; then rename, reorder or swap videos in any study party, move periods around, and set your own term dates and holidays.
Where does the content come from?
The videos are Khan Academy's, used under a Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-SA) licence. The check-ins, timetables and software are Puzzicle's. Neither Puzzicle nor your school is affiliated with Khan Academy.
