(upbeat music) - So as an account executive, my main responsibility is to be a moderator, if you will, between our internal team as well as with our clients. And when I say moderator, I mean that I am coordinating communications, which could be in the form of emails, in the form of documents, but most importantly, trying to maintain a strong social and emotional presence and understanding of our current situations.

- Communication is key. I mean, when you're negotiating or even trying to build consensus internally, being really transparent and being an active listener and clarity in your conversations, is all, those are all key elements to communication, to create collaboration and consensus.

- Running meetings and facilitating complicated discussions is really difficult when you have 40 different stakeholders in the room and there are facilities folks and finance folks and faculty and administrators and trustees all in the same room talking about one thing.

It's a really hard conversation to successfully run and being able to navigate those discussions and be okay with conflict is really essential.

- I think that's the way to build a real good community, a real trusting community, is when you're able to take the input from everyone and then kind of find a common goal and figure that out, and then go in that direction with one another. (upbeat music)
