7th grade math (TX TEKS)
This Grade 7 Math course, aligned with Texas TEKS standards, is a comprehensive journey through various math topics designed for seventh graders. Proportionality is a major theme for this course, extending into the many representations of constant rates of change, financial applications, scale copies and similar figures, and population sampling. We'll deepen our work with algebra to explore two-step equations and inequalities and practical formulas. We'll work with many geometric figures in two and three dimensions, composing and decomposing them and bringing in our algebraic reasoning skills.
